Developmental Evaluations

A developmental evaluation helps us understand the unique developmental needs for children ages 2-5.

This assessment focuses on how your child is progressing in areas such as cognition, language, and social development. Identifying this information early is critical for ensuring timely access to interventions.

The insights from this evaluation can guide decisions about therapies, educational accommodations, and other interventions, ensuring your child receives the right support to thrive.

Who this is for:

Developmental evaluations are helpful for children with concerns related to cognition, language, social skills, or behavioral regulation. They are also beneficial for children who may have developmental delays, autism, or conditions that impact early growth and learning.

The evaluation looks at:

  • Cognitive skills

  • Language and motor development

  • The way your child learns and processes information

  • Pre-academic or academic skills

  • Emotion and behavior regulation

  • Social processing

  • Adaptive behavior
