Consultation

Clinical Consultation

Clinical consultation allows families to seek professional advice without the need for an evaluation. We provide families with expert guidance beyond the evaluation to support intervention planning, decision-making, and identifying next steps. Clinical consultation can include support for:

  • Navigating the school system or making decisions about school placement

  • Preparing for a school meeting to discuss accommodations

  • Selecting effective mental health interventions tailored to your child's needs

  • Discussing learning, attention, or emotional concerns without an evaluation

Our goal is to offer practical support and meaningful clinical insight, empowering families to make well-informed decisions for their child’s well-being and development.

Peer Consultation

Peer consultation helps psychologists and neuropsychologists navigate the complexities of assessment. Whether you're seeking a second opinion, exploring clinical questions, or looking to grow professionally, we offer one-time consultation or ongoing support tailored to your needs. Peer consultation may involve:

  • Selecting and refining assessment tools and test batteries

  • Interpreting complex, discrepant, or inconclusive results

  • Diagnostic formulation and treatment planning

  • Enhancing the clarity, structure, and usefulness of reports

  • Communicating results effectively to families and referral sources

Our goal is to support effective clinical decision-making and strengthen your impact with the families you serve.

Educational Consultation

Educational consultation supports educators in addressing the needs of students with learning differences. We help translate clinical findings into actionable strategies that promote academic success. Educational consultation may include:

  • Interpreting students’ psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations

  • Developing accommodations and support plans (e.g., IEPs or 504 plans)

  • Collaborating on the design and implementation of school-based interventions

  • Early identification and intervention for dyslexia or related challenges

  • Support for progress monitoring and adjusting post-progress interventions

Our goal is to bridge the gap between clinical insight and school-based practice—helping educators feel confident in their approach and ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive in the classroom.
